This contest is kinda hard and prolly won't fly off too well, but here it is anyways. The Earthbound Tech Map Contest challenges you to create your own Towns in Earthbound. I mean like making a map of your own town. I know this sounds really hard but I will eventually provide some tools for downloading and construction of towns. If you don't got the patience or skill to make an entire town you can design your own buildings even! Just try and make it look "Earthbound-like", as if it could be in the game itself. I'll award the winner some really cool prize, even though I don't know what'll be yet I can assure you you won't be disappointed! Submit your entries as e-mail attachments and try to send them as zipped bitmaps. I want them in bitmap format because I don't wanna risk losing image quality through conversion to gif or jpg. Since bitmaps are so large, try to zip them. You can get Winzip at at this site, it's shareware so you don't need to worry about paying. [Submit an entry] To tell you the truth, this is part of a much larger plan I'm thinking about. If all goes well in the next looong while, I'll be attempting to make a sequel for Earthbound. Even now I doubt this idea will take off, but there's a chance it will so I'm going for the gold. The maps made from this contest will undoubtedly be included in the game if I ever start it.
